RELAÇÕES DE GÊNERO EM RUANDA NO PERÍODO PÓS-GENOCÍDIO: MUDANÇAS DE FATO?

Parte-se, neste trabalho dos seguintes problemas: quais foram as transformações das relações de gênero em Ruanda na sociedade pós-genocídio? Houve mudanças de fato no exercício de direitos pelas mulheres, ou elas permaneceram no plano formal? A hipótese é a de que, se houve mudanças nas relações de gênero no pós-genocídio, elas ocorreram apenas no plano formal, não havendo mudanças de fato, dado que as mudanças partiram do governo, sem participação da sociedade civil organizada.
